Restaurant Monarchia of Budapest is situated in a pleasant green neighborhood. For a long time, Buda was the center of our country, just think of the Buda Castle, the Fishermen's Bastion - only a five-minute drive from here, with downtown not much further. We have spacious parking available for those arriving by car or groups in buses.

The restaurant, with its atmosphere invoking the era of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy has been a pilgrimage site for gourmets since the past ”Millennium”.
The welcoming hall of the conservatively dignified building is adorned by numerous awards of the trade, the elegance of the interior and its turn-of-the-century ambience is made unique by the fine art of the paintings depicting nobles from the Monarchy era.

Our permanent selection, based on superior ingredients, is regularly completed by seasonal offers, starting from spring asparagus all the way to winter game and truffles.

Our wine cellar holds treasures selected from the best vintages of the Tokaj, Villány, Eger and Szekszárd regions.

On summer nights you can find some peace by the light of oil lamps or you can get some tricks of the trade from our cooks busy by the grill in our open kitchen.

Our special offers designed for protocol, business or family events range from the simple to the multiple-course gourmet menus, without the monotony of ordinary weekdays.

We provide a singular setting and service for weddings as well.
